Zach is originally from New Mexico. He moved to Howard County in June 2008. He graduated from the University of Arizona with a Bachelors in Spanish in 2007. He received a Masters of Arts in Teaching from Johns Hopkins in 2010. He has been a Spanish teacher in Baltimore City Public Schools since 2008. He currently teaches at Western High School. He enjoys serving others and helping them feel loved. Zach also likes sports and traveling with his family. He and his family have volunteered for Food and Care for All since 2023. 

Lorena is originally from Venezuela. She moved to Maryland in 2008. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and currently works as an Achievement Liaison for the school system in our county. She has a passion for helping others and connecting with people. She loves to spend time with her family and travel to visit new places and experience other cultures. 

Joseph is a senior in High School. He is passionate about baseball and serving others. He enjoys fitness, wellness and healthy living. He likes spending time with his friends and being outside. He is kind, friendly and outgoing and can easily make new friends. 

Callen is a freshman in High School. He enjoys playing sports, specifically baseball and basketball. He is kind and enjoys helping others. He is a creative, talented, and smart person. He is a responsible young man who is a good baker. He loves traveling and doing fun, exciting activities. 

Sofia is in fifth grade. She loves playing softball, reading, and writing.
