COVID-19 Emergency Relief

We are in this together....

Several families have been severely affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, with many losing their jobs, homes, and/or loved ones. Since the start of the pandemic, FCFA has supported many families in low-resource homeless shelters, through the provision of food, hygiene kits, PPEs, and cleaning supplies.

Homelessness impacts the ability to follow COVID-19 social distancing, self-protection, and stay-at-home orders, which can further worsen existing health problems (NIHCM, 2020).

We so much appreciate the invaluable contributions of homeless shelters during these unprecedented times. Hence, our resolve to continue providing emergency relief support, especially to low-resource shelters in Prince George’s County and Baltimore City, Maryland.
